Introducing the Interleaved Bible, Journal Edition – the ultimate scripture journaling experience. Patterned after the Bible that Jonathan Edwards, the 18th-century preacher and theologian, used to record more than 5,000 notes about God’s Word, this Bible features a full, blank page next to every page of Bible text. It allows you to record study notes, prayers, observations from the Bible, sermon notes, and the story of your spiritual growth.
This opulent leather Bible has been masterfully hand-rebound with a premium black cowhide cover, a chocolate brown calfskin liner and a hand-sewn brown perimeter stitch. The cowhide cover has the soft, supple feel of deerskin and the toughness and durability of cowhide. The calfskin liner is distinguished by its natural pebble grain that enhances both its visual character and tactile depth. Designed to age beautifully over time, the cowhide and calfskin strike a sophisticated balance between refined finish and rugged durability. Adding to this Bible’s beauty are chocolate brown end sheets, four ribs, gold spine stamping, and three brown satin ribbons!
This Interleaved Bible comes in either the New King James Version (NKJV) or English Standard Version (ESV). The NKJV remains a bestselling modern “word-for-word” translation. It balances the literary beauty and familiarity of the King James tradition with an extraordinary commitment to preserving the grammar and structure of the underlying biblical languages. And while the NKJV translators relied on the traditional Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic text used for the 1611 KJV, the comprehensive translator notes offer important insights about the latest developments in biblical manuscript studies. The result is a Bible translation that is both beautiful and uncompromising—perfect for serious study, devotional use, and reading aloud. The ESV is a modern translation that combines word-for-word precision and accuracy with literary excellence, beauty, and readability.

ABOUT US
Welcome to the Schaeffner Co. collection, where every piece tells a story of faith and craftsmanship. Our custom, hand-rebound Bibles have been designed to fulfill our mission of preserving God’s Word for future generations.
OUR BIBLE PICTURES
We offer many different Bible editions in several different designs, but we haven’t made every design for every Bible edition we sell (yet!). This means the pictures we display are meant to highlight the custom handcrafted cover rather than the text pages of the Bible (aka the text block) itself. The Bible edition that we’ve crafted the cover for may be different than the Bible edition we’re selling, with different page gilding, thumb-indexing tabs, size, thickness, or other features. As often as we can, we use pictures from Bibles editions with similar features to the Bible editions we’re listing.
